I have recently taken my driving test and passed first time with the help of my driving instructor Stuart Finlay. I chose Finlay School of Motoring because he came highly recommended from other friends that had passed and were learning to drive. The lessons were laid back and I got taught everything I needed to know thoroughly. He was always punctual for lessons and flexible with regards to pick up/drop off points and changing scheduled lessons if needed. His rates are competitive in comparison to other driving instructors. To avoid disappointment I advise booking in advance as he is a popular, reliable instructor. The lessons were clearly planned out each week and in an order which prepared me best for my test, resulting in the outcome I received. I could evaluate my driving ability by looking at the progress card he provided me with, I found this very useful and it helped to see what I needed to improve on. Once you have passed your theory and are ready for your test, it gets booked promptly which gives you direction to aim for during lessons however if you feel you need more practice, that can be arranged too.
